The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation will host its inaugural “Walk Through Woodstock” 0.4K on Saturday morning, June 12, for participants of all ages to support the Foundation in its mission to help students in need.
The 0.4K “race” will start at 11:00 a.m. at Chattahoochee Tech’s Woodstock Campus, located at 8371 Main Street in Woodstock, and will end at Elm Street Lawn, located at 8534 Main Street. “Walk Through Woodstock” 0.4K participants and their canine companions are encouraged to wear their grooviest, hipster-style costumes for a chance to win a prize. This event also will feature a special guest performance by Georgia-based singer/songwriter Kurt Wheeler.
“All proceeds from this event will go directly toward helping Chattahoochee Tech students through initiatives like scholarships, grants and emergency funding,” said Chattahoochee Tech Vice President of Advancement Jennifer Nelson. “Everyone who participates in this event will be serving to make higher education an affordable reality for students in need.”
