Six New Members Join Chattahoochee Tech Foundation Board of Trustees

The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation recently welcomed six new members to its Board of Trustees. Joining the board were retired Col. Patrick Campbell, Naceo Denney, Marla Ferrell, Rodney Grizzle, Jennifer Puckett, and Andrew Walker.

“These business and community leaders each offer the highest levels of skilled leadership, and we are very excited for them to join the board,” said Chattahoochee Tech Vice President of Advancement Jennifer Nelson. “They will guide us to even greater success in our mission to empower students with opportunities that will change lives and build the local workforce.”

Retired Col. Patrick Campbell
Patrick Campbell

Retired Col. Patrick Campbell is a U.S. Air Force veteran with over 670 combat hours, and numerous awards and decorations. His military career began at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Included in his military service, he was the commander of the 94th Operations Group at Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Upon retirement he continued as a civilian working at Headquarters 22nd ARB. His civil service positions included serving as director of operations, director of staff, and special assistant to the 22nd Air Force commander. He retired from civil service in 2022.

Naceo Denney
Naceo Denney

Naceo Denney is the area manager for Georgia Power serving Cherokee, Pickens and Gilmer counties. During his 23 years with the company, he has worked in several departments that have included sales, power delivery, and external affairs. He held the roles of engineer, team lead engineer, and engineering supervisor. Prior to joining Georgia Power, he worked for a municipality as an engineer in the natural gas industry as well as serving six years in the U.S. Army Reserves. Denney is a graduate of South Carolina State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology.

Marla Ferrell
Marla Ferrell

Marla Ferrell is a 13-year employee of Genuine Parts Company, where she serves as director of financial shared services. Established in 1928, Genuine Parts Company is a leading global service organization specializing in the distribution of automotive and industrial replacement parts. Ferrell oversees the cash and asset management operations of the company’s domestic businesses along with managing the month-end close and financial analytical reviews for its global operations. Included in her community service work, she is the nonprofit LiveSafe Resources secretary, and serves on the East Side Elementary School PTA executive board. She is also a co-chair for the Walton High School Football Team Mom’s Club.

Rodney Grizzle
Rodney Grizzle

Rodney Grizzle is a banking industry executive with over 40 years of experience. He currently serves as the chief lending officer at LGE Community Credit Union and president of its Greater Community Bank (GCB) Division. He is responsible for overseeing the credit union’s day-to-day operations, including lending, GCB retail and member services, and wealth management. Grizzle is a seventh-generation Cartersville resident, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Shorter College in business administration.

Jennifer Puckett
Jennifer Puckett

Jennifer Puckett is a music therapist who formed the music therapy business Therabeat, Inc. in 2006 and then co-founded In Harmony Pediatric Therapy in 2008. Music therapy services are provided by these businesses to enhance the lives of patients throughout the greater Atlanta area. Puckett earned her music therapy degree at the University of Georgia, and then completed a music therapy internship with the Fulton County School System, working with children with special needs. Included among her credentials, she serves on the Georgia Board of Music Therapy, which licenses the state’s music therapists.

Andrew Walker
Andrew Walker

Andrew Walker is a senior vice president at Colliers Atlanta Office Services Team, with over 17 years of experience in providing strategic real estate consulting services to corporate clients headquartered in Metro Atlanta. He worked previously with Cypress Communications as a senior account executive, supplying voice and data needs to Class A office tenants throughout Atlanta. Walker is a Cobb County native who is involved with the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Cobb and SelectCobb. He was the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year in 2008, and chaired the Ambassador Group in 2009.
