Self-Paced New Student Orientation for Dual Enrollment Students

Please read the instructions thoroughly.

  • This page is for newly accepted Dual Enrollment students.
  • Students must have received their college acceptance letter in order to complete New Student Orientation.
  • New Student Orientation introduces new students to Chattahoochee Technical College. The orientation is self-paced and provides an overview of the technology that will be used here at Chattahoochee Tech, resources and services available, advisement, and registration. Below are the steps to begin orientation.
    1. Thoroughly read all of the instructions before beginning New Student Orientation.
    2. Orientation will take a student approximately 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
    3. At the end of Orientation, make sure you complete your checklist items!
    4. Contact the DE department with any further questions.
    5. Begin your New Student Orientation session here.
    6. Attend New Eagle Welcome (N.E.W.) *optional. Once students have completed the self-paced online orientation, they can attend an optional New Eagle Welcome event. Students can connect with a Dual Enrollment specialist, complete Dual Enrollment funding (financial aid), and obtain a Student ID and parking pass. Students will also have the opportunity to speak with other departments regarding college resources.
