The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation invites supporters to secure tickets now for its 2020 Reverse Raffle fundraiser, which is slated as a virtual event on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m.
“All proceeds will go directly toward helping students in need at Chattahoochee Tech,” said Jennifer Nelson, the college’s vice president of Advancement. “These students need this support now more than ever.” Many students are facing an economic downturn because of the coronavirus pandemic, and they are having to decide between continuing to invest in their education or devoting funds to their families’ needs and the general cost of living. Proceeds from the Reverse Raffle will support all areas of student need, including scholarships, emergency grants, textbooks, bus passes and temporary housing.
Reverse Raffle tickets are $100 each and include a chance for the $5,000 grand prize. In a Reverse Raffle, the purchaser of the last ticket drawn wins the grand prize. The 2020 Reverse Raffle will feature Emcee Louis Tonsmeire and DJ Mark McCain. A limited number of sponsorships also are available for this event.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation supports the mission of Chattahoochee Technical College by making higher education an affordable reality for students.
