The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation raised a record-breaking total of $85,250 at its annual fundraiser to help students in need.
This event featured the Andrews Brothers Dueling Pianos, a high energy, interactive and comedy show, at the college’s North Metro Campus on Thursday, Oct. 17. John Loud, president of LOUD Security System, served as the emcee for this lively evening of entertainment. The Andrews Brothers Dueling Pianos performers have been dazzling festivals, national conventions, clubs, and corporate events for over 20 years with all-request, sing-along performances.
“We were thrilled to achieve our highest fundraising total ever at this sold-out event thanks to the strong support of our sponsors and donors,” said Chattahoochee Tech Vice President of Advancement Jennifer Nelson. “These generous contributions will help our students in need complete programs of study that prepare them to become valuable members of the local workforce.”
Proceeds raised from the Dueling Pianos event at Chattahoochee Tech will provide much-needed funding to deserving students for scholarships, emergency grants, and textbooks. Funds were raised through corporate sponsorships, ticket sales and a silent auction, along with tips generated throughout the evening from event participants. Their contributions ranged from $5,000 for premier sponsors and $3,500 for platinum sponsors, to $2,500 gold, $1,500 silver, and $500 bronze sponsorships.
