General Information
The Commercial Truck Driving program is a 6 or 8 week program (Monday – Friday) at Chattahoochee Tech that prepares students to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

The Commercial Truck Driving program prefers applicants to be 21 years of age or older. Students 18 to 20 years of age may operate a commercial truck only in the State of Georgia, and therefore, may have limited employment opportunities.
Space is limited and filled on a first come, first served basis. Submission of all required documents does not guarantee admission if class cohort is already full.
The program consists of 3 courses*:
- CTDL 1010 – Fundamentals of Commercial Driving
- CTDL 1021 – Combine Vehicle Basic Operation & Range Work
- CTDL 1031 – Combination Vehicle Advanced Operations
*Day and evening cohorts available.
- Financial Aid is available for the Commercial Truck Driving.
- Complete the GSFAPPS application to apply for financial aid including the HOPE GRANT and HOPE CAREER GRANT.
